On a year-long sabbatical from software engineering, figuring out what to build next.
- Building HeroCall, an AI poker coach that helps low-stakes cash game players get better through hand reviews and finding leaks in their game.
- Working toward my Commercial Pilot Licence. I'm already a Transport Canada–licensed Private Pilot, and aviation has been a passion of mine for years.
- Exploring how AI can change the way I build and create: multi-agent architectures, OpenClaw, and other agentic tools.
- Playing indoor soccer twice a week and doing CrossFit three times a week.
- Playing live cash poker on weekends, mostly $1/3 and $2/5.
- Exploring options strategies for income through paper trading, including covered calls, cash-secured puts, and credit spreads. Inspired by Tom Sosnoff.
